Now a firm favourite in her adopted UK, the exceptionally talented Belgian-born vocalist, Gabrielle Ducomble, returns to Colchester with that special blend of Gallic charm and sophistication that first brought her to the attention of British jazz fans and critics in 2009.

Singing in English and her native French, Gabrielle performs Parisian-style jazz and tango, putting a contemporary spin on songs by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Serge Gainsbourg and Astor Piazzolla, plus her own original material.

Accompanied by her superb band, comprising Nicolas Meier (Guitar), Dan Teper (Accordion/Piano), Nick Kacal (Double Bass) and Saleem Raman (Drums), this lady is a charismatic, sophisticated and utterly charming performer who leaves her audiences spellbound by the end of her performance.
